Christmas craft afternoon
On 26th November 2022 we organised a Christmas craft afternoon at the library. Thank you to everyone who came along to make crowns, wreaths, masks, cards, and more. We loved seeing all your brilliant creations.
It was a real community effort to put this event on so we have a few thank yous!
Thank you to Bhindu Ravi who organised all the craft ideas and sourced the materials (and whose husband also cooked the delicious samosas). Thank you to Bhindu’s friends who all pitched in to help with set up and work with families on the craft activities. Thank you to Smita Botre for the beautiful Christmas cookies. Thank you to Bud the Builder for dropping in to say hello to the children. And thank you to all the unexpected (but very welcome!) volunteers at the end of the day who made clearing up so quick and easy.
We were also delighted to raise £134 towards the new community café from the refreshments and tombola.
