How is the Library used now?
Cherry Hinton library is a valuable and much loved facility. Small libraries everywhere are threatened with closure due to pressure on council budgets. Somebody has to fight to keep them and Cherry Hinton Residents are doing just that. One tactic is to clearly demonstrate that your library is very well used by the community.
We are doing our best to use the library as much as possible not just for borrowing books!

The pop-up café which until recently opened for the last Sunday morning in the month was very popular and demonstrated the need for a full time café in this central position in the village.
