Smita Botre joins the Hub directors
We are delighted to welcome Smita Botre to Cherry Hinton Hub board of directors.

About Smita
I have been a Community Library Assistant at Cherry Hinton Library for the last eight years. I like to balance my community library work and my volunteering commitments with local food hubs and Cambridge Food Cycle.
During the pandemic I managed one of Cambridge’s food hubs and successfully delivered the food resilience project. I am passionate about reducing food poverty and am part of the Cambridge Food Poverty Alliance Network. I am a keen allotment grower and promoter of food diversity, food resilience and sustainability to address community cohesion and celebrate diversity.
I am looking forward to bringing my experience and energy to our much-awaited community hub. Cherry Hinton is an amazing place to live and work.
